Washington Irving are an alternative folk pop sextet from Glasgow. Their powerful blend of storming vocals, folksy guitars, flute driven melodies, and pounding drums is forming a fanatical fan base across the country.

Since the release of the debut EP Little Wanderer, Head Thee Home in 2010, the Glasgow band have been attracting an ever-growing fan base with their powerful blend of raucous folk pop, blending elements of The Arcade Fire, Belle & Sebastian and the Pogues. Produced by Marcus Mackay (Frightened Rabbit, Snow Patrol, Sparrow & The Workshop), the EP received airplay from the likes of Vic Galloway and Huw Stephans on Radio 1, as well as being firmly supported by BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson.
